Team Control Freaks going to the World Finals 2017!

After a long season playing Starstruck I am pleased to announce that two of our five Control Freak teams have qualified for a place at the VEX World Championship held in Kentucky. The event runs from the 19th April to the 22nd April and will have over 800 teams competing to be the World Robotics Champions for 2017!

Josh Evans and Kieran Higham of Team 3116A qualified by attaining the Excellence award at the Highgate regional in February.

Lewis Brooker, Gabriella Mariconda, Peter Chapple and Enrico Sanzeri of Team 3116C qualified by winning last weekends National final showdown at the Big Bang event that took place at the NEC in Birmingham.

The teams have already booked their flights and accommodation but are still looking for support to raise the $750 entry fee. If you or anyone you know thinks they would be able to help the teams out then please get in touch through our contact page!
